For more than a decade GYA has supported public policy reform, working with governments in four continents to deliver better public services.
A significant component of our work is enablling evidence-based policy. We specialise in combining applied economic, social and environmental skills to providing practical and timely solutions.
We have a track record of creating the synergy necessary within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver truly innovative interdisciplinary work.
Our practical expertise is underpinned by strong links to academic research and core competencies in the areas of survey design and analysis (using traditional and stated preference methods).
In many situations where we have worked a key role of our staff is work with our clients to strengthen their capacity to collect and analyse data.
Our work covers a number of areas including:
- natural resource use and pro-poor growth (from agriculture, forestry, fisheries and mining)
- cost-benefit analysis
- advising on more sustainable natural resource use
- social accountability and governance
